The Metzler Home Builders Team

At Metzler Home Builders, our team is more than just a group of colleagues – we are a close-knit family. We currently have four employees who have 25+ years’ experience with our company; three of which have spent their entire working career with Metzler Home Builders. Two of these team members were hired by Roy Metzler himself, exemplifying the trust and confidence placed in them. When you choose to work with us, you benefit from the expertise and knowledge gained from over 250 years of combined experience within the industry, specifically tailored to the standards and values upheld by Metzler Home Builders. Complimenting this team of industry veterans are several more recent hires who have provided fresh vision, ideas and methods to the Metzler process and final products. The blending of the established team with newer members has created a multi-generational team filled with both experience and the adaptability needed to meet the needs of today’s clients.  Meet the Metzler Home Builders team, and learn more about how each individual’s expertise can benefit your home build or renovation project.

Dan Metzler & Janet Metzler

Vice President  & Office Manager

Dan remains involved with land development and acquisition for the business. He has otherwise stepped away from his day-to-day roles in the operations of Metzler Home Builders, but he enjoys staying involved as needed. On any given day you can find Dan in the office catching up on Philly sports talk, making a bank run, picking up permits, or mowing the grass. He is happy to assist in these ways and enjoys seeing the success of the business moving forward.

Janet continues to be very involved in the operations of the business. While her official title is the Office Manager, she can be found doing any number of tasks on a daily basis. Overseeing daily accounting and general office management are just a small part of her current role.

Janet is unashamedly committed to the business achieving client satisfaction every time. From answering an initial call from a prospect to overseeing the service and warranty work that needs completed and everything in between, making our clients feel comfortable and taken care of is the number one objective. This commitment has naturally trickled down to everyone on the team, as the standard is set by her actions as much as her words.

She also guides homeowners through the material and color selection process, working hard to simplify this ever evolving process and making clients feel at ease and confident in their decisions. She also typically provides follow up on selections and pricing throughout the building process, making sure our homeowners stay informed of their financial investment throughout the entire process.

Dan and Janet live in Strasburg Township and are members of New Providence Mennonite Church, where Dan serves as Trustee and Janet as Treasurer. They have three married children and seven grandchildren. Dan enjoys following Philly sports teams, fishing and outdoor activities in his free time. Janet enjoys vacationing with the family, watching sports, reading, bird-watching and outdoor activities with their grandchildren.
