Abe Metzler, an experienced carpenter with over 20 years of craftsmanship, made a pivotal decision in 1953. Recognizing the time had come to embark on his entrepreneurial journey, Abe took the leap and established his own company. Beginning with remodeling projects for local homes and barns, Abe and his eldest son, Roy, joined forces and gradually took on more ambitious ventures. Their remarkable reputation attracted an opportunity to construct a new home, solidifying the flourishing partnership as the foundation of Metzler Home Builders.

Inspired by the footsteps of his father, Roy, Dan Metzler emerged as the next generation to flourish within the family enterprise. From a young age, Dan eagerly shadowed his father, absorbing the invaluable qualities Roy had inherited from his own upbringing. In 1978, Dan became a partner, seamlessly integrating himself into the business. In 1988, when his father decided to retire, Dan and his wife, Janet, confidently assumed the helm of the company, effectively managing its affairs. Fast forward to the summer of 2011, and a new chapter unfolded as Jordan, the son of Dan and Janet, joined the ranks of the Metzler team, marking the remarkable entrance of the fourth generation into the family business.

Jordan Metzler, the current President and Owner of Metzler Home Builders, carries a profound responsibility to uphold the enduring legacy of the Metzler family. With a clear vision for the company’s future, Jordan embraces three fundamental pillars: honoring the legacy, fostering team growth, and investing in the community.
