Foundation/Demolition

This phase will start with your initial demolition, excavation, and foundation structure being installed. If your project does not require excavation, the demolition process will be the first step.

Framing

Your project begins to take shape as the framing of the floor, wall, and roof systems are constructed. The windows and doors will then be installed, followed by the roofing materials.

Mechanical/Insulation

Now that your project is framed, it is time for the mechanical “rough-ins”, or initial install. Plumbing, electrical. and HVAC ducting will be installed, and insulation will be completed. This part of the process may involve specific walk-throughs with our trade partners who are performing the work.

Exterior Finishes

The exterior finishes will generally follow the mechanical/insulation stage. Your exterior finish materials (siding, stone, brick, stucco, etc.) will be installed as well as any exterior trim work and details that are included in your design.

Interior Finishes

The interior of your project begins to take shape as you enter this phase where the walls are covered. First drywall is hung and finished for painting. Next, our carpenters put their craft to work during the interior trim stage. After the initial trim work is completed, painting will follow. Floor covering is installed next, followed by any cabinetry and countertops. Your renovated home is taking shape and you can see the finishes you selected coming together.

Finish Out

The finish out stage is when you will see the complete picture of your renovated home. Faucets and light fixtures will be installed. Carpet, closet shelving, bathroom mirrors, shower doors, and towel bars will complete any bedroom and bathroom spaces.

Completion

Final inspections and a walk-through are completed with your project manager. The completed project is turned over for you and your family to enjoy and make memories for years to come.
